Community Education Luncheons

Doctors at Feist-Weiller Cancer Center / LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport reach out to the community at two annual cancer eduction luncheons. In honor of October’s designation as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Feist-Weiller Cancer Center hosts a free luncheon to raise awareness and educate the community about breast health. Feist-Weiller physicians and scientists meet with small lunch groups to discuss their research and trends in breast cancer. In the spring, physicians and scientists interact with lunch groups about various cancer issues.
